[HCMC] Promoting Investment among APEC Economies Conference

The IPBA and VBLC invite you to attend the IPBA-VBLC-VIAC-Judicial Academy, Ministry of Justice regional conference, taking place on Saturday, November 4, 2017 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam at the Sheraton Hotel. This Conference is the first IPBA Regional Conference organized in Vietnam, hosted by the APEC Committee and the IPBA Vietnam Committee, together with the Vietnam Business Lawyers Club (VBLC) of the Vietnam Bar Federation, the Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC), and the Judicial Academy of the Ministry of Justice.

The conference will include speakers from multinational corporations, large national enterprises, leading international law firms, and regional and national law firms who will evaluate the prospects and analyze the current issues related to trade and investment cooperation in the APEC region, discuss developments in outbound investment from major APEC economies to emerging markets, compare the pros and cons on arbitration and dispute settlement in different arbitration forums, review ways to navigate an increasingly complex regulatory environment related to anti-corruption, tax, land, valuation and many other issues.
